June’s Blooms: My June Flower Photo Gallery

Written by:

Hi, I’m Memphis! I’m notorious for stopping mid walk or sentence to snap a quick picture of beautiful flowers. Can you blame me? Not only are great pictures of flowers such a mood boost, they also make stunning phone wallpapers! Anyways, I have collected the best pictures, from the past month, of the flowers I saw! Please enjoy June’s blooms with backstories.

Starting from the beginning of the month, we have the lovely rhododendron bush! This beauty is thriving outside my front door. I truly can’t help but smile every time I leave or come home. The pinks are so vibrant in the morning sun and the color slowly changes throughout the bloom’s life cycle. I’ve been so lucky to watch this one grow and see the blooms multiply year after year. I love these!

My next photo capture was of these two stunning, handmade flower bouquets! I went to a bakery in Boise, ID and saw these for sale. They have such unique flowers in them that are very different from normal grocery store bouquets. I love how elegant and colorful the arrangements are and might stop in again to purchase one soon!

Let’s jump back to plants in my yard! I also have a cutie hydrangea bush that I have spent quite a bit of time studying up on. She deserves it though! If you follow me on Instagram (@memphis.crane) you would have possibly seen the progression of the blooms so far. However, I’ll catch you up! I’m stoked to have pink hydrangeas this year! I was originally thinking they would either be blue or a purple color. Last year, I had mauve toned blooms so the pink progression does make sense. Be sure to check out my Instagram so you can stay up to date on the latest growth and bloom development!

The next outing where flowers were spotted was Home Depot in the garden section. I couldn’t help myself but snap some pics of the vibrant varieties. Again, flowers are such a mood boost. The color, the scent (of most), the rewarding nature of growing them yourself! However, if you have severe allergies, I can understand not loving them. I’m sorry for your loss if that is the case. Now, I was mainly browsing Home Depot’s garden section for produce as I’m planning out my garden. I didn’t happen to see much for veggies, does anyone have any other recommendations? I’m looking forward to setting my raised garden bed up. Life has been a little busy lately, but that blog will come soon!

Moving on, can we take a second to talk about Costco’s bouquet selection? I was genuinely impressed and obviously had to take a picture. The right color combination will always do it for me and they got the textures pretty well also! For the affordable price point, these bouquets are definitely worth it. Bonus points if you also get a hot dog after shopping!

Next up, I captured this sweet moment of Memow (Yuki) smelling this vibrant flower. I received a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, after a hard day, from my sweet boyfriend. Unfortunately, the smell of this stem was so strong it ended up giving me a headache every time I caught a whiff. I ultimately decided to chop off the blooms, hence the cut flower! I’m so glad I had the camera ready for when Memow decided he also wanted to get a sniff.

Last but certainly not least, I wanted to include an update on the hydrangea. As the month went by, the color progressed and the pink became much more vibrant! There is still some development to go, but look at how gorgeous! The small, delicate petals are so adorable and the pink color absolutely makes my year!

And that is a wrap on June’s blooms! I hope this encouraged you to take an extra moment to stop and smell the roses (pun intended). Enjoy the simple beauties and life will be more beautiful! I want to say that ia the end of the sappy sentiments. However, I also want to say thank you if you’ve read this far. It truly means a lot to me. If you enjoyed this post, I’d love it if you left a like or comment! Also, don’t forget to follow me on Instagram (@memphis.crane) to keep up with my pink hydrangeas!

Talk more soon,

Memphis
