Hey everyone! Today I’m sharing a restaurant that is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate a good friend’s birthday during lunch, the other day, and we hit up Acero boards and bottles.

I’ve enjoyed eating here a few times and I’ve made my way around their menu as well. With Acero quickly becoming a quarterly staple in my food outings, I figured I had to share it with all of you!

The Atmosphere

Acero does a wonderful job accommodating small or large parties. Reservations are easy and you will have a picture perfect setting no matter where you’re sat. The space is modern and inviting and they offer outdoor seating as well. It’s a casual escape from the downtown Boise busyness. Their dress code is business casual, so throw a coat or blazer over some jeans and a T-shirt and you’ll have an effortless look. Every server I’ve had has been kind, patient, and helpful. I’ve received wonderful recommendations and even got few small samples of their soup delivered to our table, because we couldn’t decide! They tended to the tables at just the right times and never once made me feel rushed.

The Food Fix

Acero has their standard lunch and dinner menu (all day). This consists of shareable appetizers, boards, flatbreads, entrees, bruschetta, salads, and soups. They also offer a weekend brunch served Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am-2:00pm. I can confirm both menus are to die for! This time, I went with the spicy sausage flatbread and I’ll be singing its praises from the rooftop. The flavors blended together so beautifully and the spice was perfectly balanced by the drizzle of honey. Unfortunately, I had to get it to-go in order to keep up with my busy day. But I snuck a piece so I would stop drooling ;). If you’re local or passing through, it’s worth a stop.

Acero is affordable, inviting, and they have a knack for making food you actually want to eat again!

Wrapping It Up

It’s safe to say, I’m hooked. From the incredible service, to the wonderful dishes, Acero is sure to have something for everyone! What’s your favorite lunch spot? I’m always down for a food tip!
